I am 3 months pregnant. Today I’m preparing for my 1st day of the procedure. Bought Mife kit from Ms. Ella last May 28, received the package on the 30th.

I had a consultation with my OB kahapon (June 1) and for transv ultrasound. Mahina ang kapit ni baby, I have internal bleeding so there is already a possibility na ma abort si baby, konti lang din ang amniotic fluid so ipit na ipit si baby sa loob ng tummy ko. My OB required me to undergo several lab tests asap because she fears na baka may infection ako. But hindi ko ginawa, instead nag prep ako today (June 2) for my first day of the procedure Ms. Ella sent me. Kinakabahan lang ako, sana walang complications.

I was already about 2 months pregnant when I found out. The past months I was still smoking like usual not heavy but I smoked from time to time. Second hand smoker din ako kc yung brother ko chain smoker. I’m afraid baka may effect na kay baby physically and mentally. I also travelled and walked a lot with heavy backpack. So feeling ko eto ang ibang mga reasons I have internal bleeding.

Sobrang hirap tong desisyon na to both for me and my partner. He was so ready to be a father. Yung reaction nya that day sinabi ko I’m pregnant, kinabahan sya akala nya nagbibiro ako but yung smile sa mukha nya na sobrang happy and excited. Di ko inextpect yung reaction nya, naguluhan ako, masaya na malungkot, excited na kinakabahan. That day sinabi ko sa kanya I already had the thought na hindi ko itutuloy yung pregnancy. Kaya ang kirot sa dibdib.

Lahat tayo may kanya kanyang reasons bakit natin kinailangan gawin to. Pero kahit papano nakahanap ako ng lakas at nabawasan yung pain of making the hardest decision of my life dahil sa forum na to. Yung mga stories nyo na nabasa ko. I learned to respect those women who had to go through this as I was always against abortion.

I’ve had days na naeexcite ako to have a baby. I would imagine how he/she would be like pag toddler na sya. I would also be tempted to check online ano na ichura at ginagawa nya sa loob ng tummy ko. It was a battle between me who wants to be a mother and take the responsibility (the person who doesn’t give a fuck kung anong sabihin both ng family namin ng partner ko and other people) and the other side of me the nagigising sa reality na hindi talaga pwedeng ituloy for so many complicated reasons, few of which we both are not ready financially and emotionally and for me physically also kc ngayon palang hirap na hirap nako, I’m always in pain dahil nga sa internal bleeding. Everyday I would cry a lot lalo pagnaiimagine ko gano na sya kalaki sa loob ng tummy ko. I would cry even harder after contemplating for an abortion.

Hindi naging madali para sakin to convince my partner to have an abortion because he had already decided that we will continue with the pregnancy no matter what. But I told him all the reasons why, eventually he agreed. It was a day we did nothing but cry. But somehow we had to make a decision asap kc we are running out of time. Ayokong gawin to na malaki na si baby. It was a heartbreaking decision but we came to an agreement. We just prayed and asked forgiveness kay baby and kay God. Hindi namin makakalimutan pareho tong part ng buhay namin but we’re hoping if God is willing to give a second chance na makabuo kame ng family namin in the future when we both are ready.

To everyone going through these difficult times, be strong. Don’t be afraid to make a decision for yourself and your future no matter what decision you want to take, no one has the right to judge you. But pray to God and ask for His forgiveness.

I took mife tab yesterday on my first day of the procedure. Mejo nasusuka ako after so I tried to sleep nalang after ko kumain. Meron ba sa inyo nakaramdam ng kahit anong pain or discomfort after mag take ng mife tab?

Alam ko after taking the mife tab on the first day, wala na talagang atrasan kc may effect na yung kay baby, it can already cause deformities sa kanya. But today on my second day of the procedure, is the hardest part for me.

I woke up at 7am, kinakabahan ako, it is a very emotional day for me. Hindi ko miwasan maka feel ng matinding guilt, akala ko na i labas ko na lahat ng naramdaman kong guilt, lungkot at bigat ng loob, hindi pa pala. Mas mahirap ngayon kc kelangan ko nang isipin mismo kung pano sya unti unting maaabort sa katawan ko.

Ang hirap humingi ng tawad kay baby at sabihin sa kanya na mahal na mahal ko sya, na mahal na mahal namin sya ng daddy nya while we’re making sure na maging succesful yung abortion. Kahit ilang luha pa iiyak ko hindi mapapawi ang sobra sobrang kalungkutan. Sorry anak...

I wrote this as I was undergoing day 2 procedure, from the time I took the first tab until the last few hours I could no longer stay awake sa sobrang pagod.

About 15-20 mins after taking the first tab, warm feeling around my vagina, yung feeling na may dysmenorrhea, and pressure on both sides of my pelvis. I have spotting, dark brown discharge from my internal bleeding came out but no fresh blood yet.

After 1 hour, pressure around my uterus and lower back is doubled and a bit painful, yung feeling na mejo mas matinding dysmenorrhea, a bit feeling of wanting to poop, cramps in my uterus because of the contraction. A bit more discharges passed but still no fresh blood.

After 1 hour 30 mins, I feel more cramps on my uterus. Parang may dumadagan at pumipindot sa puson ko pababa, para akong na pin down sa bed habang nakahiga. May konting kirot from time to time. Nag stay lang ako sa isang position so I dont feel the pain or pressure as much. I feel a bit like pooping pero kaya pa naman. I also feel a bit nauseous parang gusto kong masuka. The bleeding is light but spontaneous.

After 2 hours, cramps is worst than dysmenorrhea, I feel like I am in labor, for 2 mins I would feel excruciating pain then about 1 min with less pain.

After 2 hours 30 mins, I started to have chills. The pain doesn’t stop. The urge to poop is worst than ever, pain spread out hanggan thigh and stomach.

After 3 hours, I felt a gush of blood came out. Pain is still there and more cramps.

After 3 hours 20 mins, more pain and cramps, feeling ko may pinupuputol sa loob ng uterus ko.

After 3 hours 35 mins, I felt like my water broke, parang may sumabog na bag of water sa loob ng uterus ko. Still had cramps pero mejo nabawasan na yung pain after few minutes.

After 4 hours, still having cramps.

5 hours after the procedure, I didn’t use the last 2 tabs. I felt the urge to pee, I can’t hold it any longer. Pagpasok ko ng cr I decided to do it in the shower just in case lumabas si baby. In deed when I peed after a huge blood clot twice the size of my fist passed then sumunod na sa baby. But our biggest worry this time, we’re not so sure kung nasan ang placenta kung nailabas ko na ba or hindi pa. I sent Ms. Ella a txt message and sent her a photo on messenger. I’m still waiting for her response. I still have pain in my uterus and continuously bleeding lightly. I didn’t feel anymore cramps after this. I thought it’s done, the pain will go away. I didn’t feel any pain or cramps for about 30 mins.

Cramps started again but this time it was excruciating pain worse than the pain I felt at the beginning of the procedure. The painful cramps lasted until 2:12 am, I felt a blood clot pass, I felt some cramps but the pain is just too much.

2:31 more blood came out.
2:36 cramps with excruciating pain.
3:00 went to pee, clot passed, still having excruciating painful.

I would fall asleep for few minutes then wake up from the severe pain, yung feeling na may pumipiga sa uterus mo sa loob, halos magsisigaw ako sa sakit, it would last for 2 to 3 mins, then I would fall back to sleep dahil sa pagod, halos hindi ko na madilat and mga mata ko at halos wala nakong boses, umuungol nalang ako sa sakit. Yung partner ko wala ding tulog kaka asikaso sakin. He would insist that we should go to the emergency kc nga I don’t look ok anymore, but I said kaya ko pa, kakayanin ko pa mawawala din to, pero gusto ko nang mag collapse sa sobrang pagod at hilo pati gutom. I ask for some crackers but I can’t stay seating more than a minute dahil sa cramps, I would start moaning again dahil sa tindi ng pain. While this is happening, he would search about it online, he found out that this is supposed to be normal after an abortion.

“Uterine cramping is normal after any kind of abortion; the main way that your uterus controls bleeding is to contract, squeezing the blood vessels shut. Heavy bleeding can occur if your uterus relaxes too much (uterine atony) or if some fetal or placental tissue is retained in the uterus (incomplete abortion)..”

We were still concerned after reading about this because we’re not sure if my placenta passed with my blood or still inside my uterus. This painful ordeal went on from 12:30 am until 7:45 am then a clot passed. After this I felt relieved, no more painful cramps, I fell asleep the whole morning.

I’m recovering now, it’s been 2 days since the procedure. But my bf and I are still grieving. Sobra sobrang lungkot pa din namin. We ordered a pot and my favourite flower, dun namin ilalagay si baby.

Mejo hirap padin ako kumilos after ng procedure until now. May bleeding padin ako. Naka bed rest lang ako. Napansin ko kc lumalakas ang bleeding kapag kumikilos ako.

Hindi ako nagpa raspa after ng procedure kc wala naman akong nararamdaman ng pain or severe bleeding. But next week balak ko magpa ultrasound.

Lumabas na ba yung baby mo sis? Kung lumabas na kasama yung placenta complete na yun pero to make sure na ok na kelangan mo padin magpa ultrasound, pero gawin mo after 1 week siguro kung wala ka namang severe bleeding or pain na nararamdaman. Next week ako magpapa ultrasound sis, 11 days after ng procedure ko.

Alam ko kc 5 days after ng procedure bago uminom nun anti hemo kapag malakas pa yung bleeding pero pag mahina na di uminom. Sa Saturday pa sched ko uminom, depende kung malakas padin bleeding ko, pag mahina na hindi nako iinom sis. Update kita.

UPDATE: 2 weeks and 5 days after last day of Mife Kit procedure.

It’s been 19 days today since my my last day of procedure (June 3rd). I still didn’t do my PT because I’ve been bleeding since. Also because I’m sure that it’s negative. It isn’t a very easy recovery for me. Like most of you sa nabasa ko, you were back to work the day after the procedure. It was a different story for me, I guess kc mejo matagal talaga ako mag recover tuwing nag undergo ako ng ano mang medical procedure specially when I’m taking meds. I could not walk normally kc nanghihina padin ang muscles ko on both legs and knees, so I’m on bed rest most of the time.

June 10th - I couldn’t sleep, something in my stomach was bothering me. I felt bloated. Hindi ako nakatulog until morning kc I had to find the right position for me to sleep comfortably. I couldn’t stay long in one position so I had to roll and sleep either on my left or right. So I did this until morning.

June 11th - I woke up late in the afternoon but still feeling heavy on my stomach. Yung feeling na parang may namamaga sa loob which I assumed baka my uterus is still sensitive kc it’s undergoing healing process. Pero this didn’t stop me from going out of town. We headed to Tagaytay around 3pm. The whole time I was in the car and each time napapadaan sa lubak nararamdaman ko ang sakit ng tummy ko, it was so sensitive sa movement ng sasakyan, so I had to secure it all the time with either one of my palms para hindi sya masyadong gumalaw kc masakit. So we had samgyupsal for dinner. Naka ilang subo palang ako, I felt I had to go to the toilet ASAP. I felt the worst pain ever, yung feeling when you have diarrhea but the pain was worst. I suddenly remembered na hindi pa pala ko naka poops since June 3rd (which is my last day of mife kit procedure) which means I’m constipated, so it was painful as hell nanghihina nako sa loob ng toilet. Was in there for an hour and a half, forcing myself to poop kaso takot akong umire kc feeling ko baka mag swell yung uterus ko. Now I realized, that the pain I was feeling in my stomach is not from a swollen uterus but instead from constipation. So I finally passed this ordeal. I felt ok but not better after. I am sharing this part just to make you aware of what’s happening to my body. And gusto ko din malaman if you had this same experience.

Since June 3rd of my last day of Mife kit procedure, I am still bleeding but not heavily, parang 1st day of menstruation lang yung lakas, until...

June 19th - walang blood sa pad ko. I assumed di nako magbi bleed after baka tapos na, or so I thought.

June 20th - I went out of my room to do some work on my computer. I felt I want to pee but didnt make it to the toilet, a gush of blood came out like pee off to my legs, my pad was totally useless. I had to run to the toilet. I passed a blood clot the size half of my palm. I stayed in bed the whole time after this.

June 21 - I was still weak from the bleeding but I had to do some important stuff at the bank near our house. I was in the bank an hour or so, I felt a lot of blood coming out so I decided to go home. There was a lot of blood and a blood clot passed the size of my palm. I felt sick after because of the blood loss. But I had to go out to do some groceries.

June 22 - around 7 am I got up coz I felt I had to go to the toilet para mag poop kaso ang konti lang ng lumabas. I’m worried kc di ko maintindihan bakit di sya makalabas normally everyday or every other day ako mag poops pero this time ayaw talaga. Pero kahit papano I’m ok with it kesa wala at all.

Around 2 pm, I felt I had to go to the toilet again. A lot of blood was ready to flood my pads (I had to use 3 pads to make sure I don’t make a mess while I sleep) and my bed, so I ran to the toilet. It was a blood bath in there. Almost half full of a water dipper if I put together all the blood clots that came out on the floor. It looked scary, I felt dizzy all of a sudden para akong sinuntok sa mukha parang na cross eyed ako bigla sa dami nang lumabas na dugo. My legs are so weak atm, di nanaman ako makalakad ng maayos, nanginginig legs and arms ko.

I still didn’t go to my OB for check up kc I’m afraid she would find out what I did and of course di ko din alam isasagot ko sa kanya if she asked what procedures were done to me pag sinabi ko na I had a miscarriage. But my boyfriend and I are planning to have a check up soon but with a different OB. When things are more clear I’ll go back to my original OB for follow ups.

Sa knya rin sana ako bili. Before kasi unang inquire ko sa knya 5200 lang ung mife kit good for 11weeks preggy daweh since 3month nako 6200 nasya nadagdagan lang ng apat na cytotec. Dun kasi sa mife 5200 1mife 4 cyto ngayon sa 6200 1mife 8 cyto.

Diko alam if ganto rin presyo sa inyo at ganyan din u g kit set.

Hello sis. 3 mons din ako nung ginagawa ko, 6,200 din charge nya sakin, depende kc kung ilang months na nagva vary din nung number of pcs and price. Pero wag ka mag alala kc sure na effective nanam. Yung iba nga ang laki pa ng ginastos kc na peke sila online. Kay Ms. Ella sure na effective, I guarantee you.
